What led to the approval of the columbia basin reclamation project.
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

Nitrate levels in the water are higher than permitted.

Explanation:

Groundwater supplies drinking water in eastern Washington's Columbia Basin. Approximately 20% of all monitored wells in Adams, Franklin, and Grant Counties had nitrate concentrations above the US Environmental Protection Agency's nitrate contamination threshold. After getting approval from the Washington State Department of Ecology, the Columbia Basin Ground Water Management Area was set up in February 1998. At first, the main goal was to lower the amount of nitrate in the ground water.

Industrial production fell due to a lack of raw materials in Japan after WWI.
Nata [24]
No, technically speaking it is false that industrial production fell due to a lack of raw materials in Japan after WWI, since although Japan lacked a great many materials, they invaded foreign territories in order to make up for this deficit.

What two events occurred in Boston that caused tension between British Parliament and the colonists
finlep [7]

The two events occurred in Boston that caused tension between British Parliament and the colonists were the Boston Massacre of 1770 and the Boston Tea Party of 1773.

-The Boston Massacre took place on the night of March 5, 1770. The tension caused by the military occupation of Boston, increased after the firings that a group of soldiers made against a group of protesters protesting against the rate hike on the part of England to recover from the economic losses after the war. John Adams would later say that, after the night of the Boston Massacre, the desire for independence of the United States of America began.

-The 16 of December of 1773 took place in Boston the denominated Boston Tea Party, in which a shipment of tea was sent to the sea. A group of settlers disguised as Indians threw the cargo of tea from three British ships into the sea. It was an act of protest by the American colonists against Great Britain and is considered a precedent of the United States War of Independence.

The rebellion of the settlers in the port of Boston was born as a result of the approval by Great Britain in 1773 of the Tea Act, which taxed the import from the metropolis of various products, including tea, to benefit the British Company of the East Indies to whom the colonists boycotted buying the tea of the Netherlands.

PLEASE HELP!!! WILL MARK BRAINLIEST!!!! According to the ___ (Second Amendment, Third Amendment, Fifth Amendment, Seventh Amendm
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

According to the Second Amendment, all US citzens were allowed to bear and keep arms.  It is not clear whether that provided the right to individual self-defense or to state militias.

Explanation:

The Second Amendment of the Constitution that was adopted in 1791 was meant to provide a check on congressional power and the federal government under Article I Section 8. This is the section of the Amendment that addresses the rights of the individual to organize, arm and discipline the federal militia. This amendment is controversial in modern society today because some people interpret it as the Constitutional defense for an individual to bear arms. It is an important part of the controversy over gun control in the United States.

There is some disagreement about the extent to which this right was applicable because the Second Amendment reads "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." There are therefore some who say that the right to bear arms is only in the context of militias needed to defend the rights of the state.
