Look at the population pyramid. What conclusion can you draw from it?
balu736 [363]

c. Birth rates are high

Explanation:

A wide base in the population pyramid shows that there is a large population of young people with high fertility rate or birth rate and high death rate.

From the graph, it can also be concluded that narrow tip at the top shows that lesser older people are in the population.

This pyramid shown in the diagram is a triangular age pyramid. In this type of pyramid the pre-reproductive individuals are high   reproductive individual are moderate and non-reproducing individual is less. In such pyramid we find population grows.

Suppose in a family of ten 6 are pre-reproductive, 2 moderate reproductive and 2 post-reproductive. We will see the in the course of moderate and post-reproductive will die and those six of pre-reproducing age will increase the population.

How might alterations in dna structure be harmful to an organism?
Thepotemich [5.8K]
Changes in the dna are called mutations. They can occur spontaneously. Mutations can only be passed down in gametes--sperm and egg cells. with Darwins theory at mind a mutation needs to pass the test of natural selection to remain in the gene pool. So purposly making mutation or altercations may end in diseases/illnesses or in some cases death because they body can not take it.....hope this helps if it doesnt im sorry!

Euglena use which structure for movement? A. cilia B. flagella C. pseudopods D. they do not move
Harman [31]
The answer is B, a euglena uses a flagella in order to move. Euglena is a one celled organism under the Kingdom Protista. A flagella (or flagellum plural) is a long strand like structure that is located in the front end part (more like a tail in front). It flips to the left and right in order for the organism to move. It is connected to the reservoir, which contains the storage of food for the organism.
