Answer:  2.815 kilograms

======================================================

Work Shown:

1 layer = 0.5 kg

5 layers = 5*(0.5 kg) = 2.5 kg

icing = 15 g = 15/1000 = 0.015 kg

1 candle = 100 g = 100/1000 = 0.1 kg

3 candles = 3*(0.1 kg) = 0.3 kg

------------------------

The five layers combine to 2.5 kg. On top of that we have 0.015 kg of icing, and then finally the three candles add 0.3 kg more weight.

The total weight is therefore: 2.5+0.015+0.3 = 2.815 kilograms

Square T was translated by the rule (x + 2, y + 2) and then dilated from the origin by a scale factor of 3 to create square T″.
Delicious77 [7]

Answer: OPTION C.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is important to know the following:

<u> Dilation:</u>

  • Transformation in which the image has the same shape as the pre-image, but the size changes.
  • Dilation preserves betweenness of points.
  •  Angle measures do not change.

<u>Translation:</u>

  • Transformation in which the image is the same size and shape as the pre-image.
  • Translation preserves betweenness of points.
  • Angle measures do not change.

Therefore, since the Square T was translated and then dilated to create Square T'', we can conclude that the statement that explains why  they are similar is:

<em>Translations and dilations preserve betweenness of points; therefore, the corresponding sides of squares T and T″ are proportional.</em>

A statistics professor plans classes so carefully that the lengths of her classes are uniformly distributed between 46.0 and 56.
barxatty [35]

Answer: 0.05

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Interval for uniform distribution : [46.0 minutes, 56.0 minutes]

The probability density function will be :-

f(x)=\dfrac{1}{56-46}=\dfrac{1}{10}=0.1\ \ , 46

The probability that a given class period runs between 50.75 and 51.25 minutes is given by :-

P(50.75

Hence, the probability that a given class period runs between 50.75 and 51.25 minutes = 0.05

You build and sell toy cars for $36 each. So far, you have built 25 toy cars. How many more toy cars will you have to build and
chubhunter [2.5K]
If you have built 25 cars, and they are 36 dollars per, then multiply 25 and 36 for the amount of money.  This will result with 25*36=900.  Since we already have 900 dollars worth, we subtract that from the goal of 1620, leaving us with 1620-900=720.  Now, divide this by the price per car for the amount of cars needed to get to this goal. 720/36=20 cars

Hope this helps!
