The difference between the map during the early 1900´s was the way the early settlements where shown in Irish names, portraying the fact that the Irish population was second, right under the English. Pushed out of Ireland because of  religious conflict back home, decided to come to America, after they were promised land and religious freedom in return for applying their knowledge.

That is when the fear of immigrants taking over started, since English population was not that bigger than the Irish.

sattari [20]

Answer:

B. The Fall Line became a natural barrier to trade as these waterfalls were not easily traversed.

Explanation:

In Georgia, the Fall Line acted as a barrier to the flow of river, this marked the limits of river travel for ship, which then led to trading posts to be developed along the Fall Line, where materials brought up from Coastal Plain rivers could be marketed for material from the Piedmont region.

Hence, the true statement about the Fall Line in Georgia is "the Fall Line became a natural barrier to trade as these waterfalls were not easily traversed."

Which of these actions involve use of explicit consciousness? (Select all that apply.)
horrorfan [7]
The correct answers are working on a history test and solving a sudoku puzzle.

The reason for this is because you can listen to music and don't need to be explicitly conscious - imagine drifting away in thoughts while you listen to music, or do something completely unrelated.

The same goes for riding a bike. Once you know how to ride a bike and know the path where you're going, your attention and explicit consciousness can be allocated somewhere completely else :)

The correct answers are the middle two - because of them require you to be present and attentive of the situation and what you have to do.
