I have not learned this stuff yet, but by using online calculators, I can determine that the vertex form of your equation is:

n/a. It cannot be written in vertex form because it is not a conic section.

But if you are referring to x^2 - 12x + 8, the answer is: Y = (x - 6)² - 28 (i think)

(x-4)^2-19=y
you first add the three to the other side, then add 16 on both sides, make the left side x-4 squared, and lastly you subtract 19 from both sides.

What is the domain of this exponential function?
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

Domain = x E R

Step-by-step explanation:

Select the three equations that pass through the points (-4, -16) and (5,2).
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

The equation of the line is y-2 = 2(x - 5), that passes through points (-4, -16)\ and\ (5,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given points are (-4, -16)\ and\ (5,2)

We need to write the equation of the line that passes through these points

First, we will find slope of this line

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\\\m=\frac{2-(-16)}{5-(-4)}\\\\m=\frac{2+16}{5+4}\\\\m=\frac{18}{9}=2

So, our slope is 2. Now, we will plug the point (5,2) in the equation below.

(y-y_1)=m(x-x_1)\\y-2=2(x-5)\\

So, the equation of the line is y-2 = 2(x - 5).

What is the slope of the line that passes through:<br> (6,5) and (-1,-4)<br><br><br> Thank You!
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

m=\frac{9}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope Formula: m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Simply plug in the 2 coordinates into the slope formula to find slope <em>m</em>:

m=\frac{-4-5}{-1-6}

m=\frac{-9}{-7}

m=\frac{9}{7}
