This step pyramid consisted of six stacked mastabas. The largest Egyptian pyramids are those at the Giza pyramid complex. Pyramids were built for religious purposes. The Egyptians were one of the first civilizations to believe in an afterlife. They believed that a second self called the ka lived within every human being. ... Most western states grew on the promise of mining, people moved by the hundreds of thousands and the U.S did not have the infrastructure at the time. in some places they might have not been a sheriff for hundreds of miles thus most people did not belive that there was nearly any consequences for their actions which caused unpredictable and usually bad behavior
