Answer:

\frac{5\pi }{2}\:ft (Option D)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>GIVEN :-</u>

  • Angle subtended by the arc at center (θ) = 90°
  • Radius of the circle = 5 ft.

<u>TO FIND :-</u>

  • Length of the arc

<u>GENERAL FORMULAE TO BE USED IN THIS QUESTION :-</u>

Lets say an arc subtends ∠θ at the center of the circle whose radius is 'r'.

=> Length \; of \; the \; arc = \theta \times \frac{\pi r}{180}

<u>SOLUTION :-</u>

Length of the arc = \theta \times \frac{\pi r}{180} = 90 \times \frac{5\pi }{180} =\frac{5\pi }{2}

B) Sanjeev draws a triangle with its sides as 6cm, 8cm and 10cm. Is the
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Use Pythagorean's theorem. If the sides satisfies Pythagorean theorem, then, they form a right angled triangle.

The longest side is hypotenuse.

Hypotenuse² = base² + altitude²

10²  = 6² +8²

100 = 36 + 64

100 = 100

So, 6cm, 8cm, 10 cm makes an right angles triangle.

Marco made of rectangular prism using 1/2 m cubes the rectangular prism has a volume of 5 m³ how many cubes did Marco use
Nookie1986 [14]
Ok so
1 find volume of 1 cube
2. find total volume of rectangular prism

1/2 m cubes
volume=side^3
side=1/2m (I guess since that was what was given)
v=1/2^3=1/8

so
volume of 1 cube times number of cubes=total volume
1/8m^3 times number of cubes=5m^3
multiply both siides by 8/1 m^3 to clea fraction (since 8/1 times 1/8=8/8=1)
number of cubes=40

needs 40 cubes
