The economic and political imbalances bring about the the character difference of local residents. Therefore, it is difficult to find a general feature of Chinese. Japan, on the contrary, is relatively small. When you watch the weather forcast, you will find that there is little difference from Tokyo to Kyoto. To be honest, I have never went to Japan, so I only get the picture of Japanese from books and mangas. In my onion, most Japanese are strict and elegant. They make brilliant mangas and games! I am willing to make friends with them.
