The Doolittle's crews retaliated for Pearl Harbor by beating the Japanese mainland- at home. The attack was conducted under Lieutenant Colonel James H. Doolittle flying the B-25s. The mission was to drop their bombs on military targets in Tokyo, Kobe, Yokohama, and Osaka.
