Find the x -intercept and y -intercept of the line. 3x-6y=12
find the X and Y intercept
Andreas93 [3]
3x-6y=12
y=mx+b
-6y=-3x+12 <- divide by -6 to make y by itself
y=1/2x-2
The y-intercept is (0,-2)
x-intercept: put 0 in for y
0=1/2x-2
2=1/2x
x=4
(4,0)
Y intercept: (0,-2)
X-intercept (4,0)

A carpenter wishes to make a ladder with 15 cross-pieces.The cross-pieces are to diminish uniformly in Lengths from 67cm at the
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

52 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

1st piece (from bottom) = 67 cm

15th piece = 32 cm

a = 67

a₁₅ = a + 14d = 32

14d = 32 - 67

d = -35/14

d =-5/2

d = -2.5

a₇ = a + 6d

= 67 + 6(-2.5)

= 67 - 15

= 52 cm
