Do you mean describe a new student , a new student will generally be to themselves , isolated as they might not know anyone , they may not have any friends and might be scared of talking to anyone as they wouldn't know how to respond . It will be hard for them to accept their new environment and surroundings. They could be thought as being weird but first impressions of a person doesn't exactly mean that they are like that .
