Answer:

The average speed needed is 68.4 mi/h

Explanation:

Average Speed

If an object travels a distance d in a time t regardless of the direction, the average speed is the quotient of the distance over the time:

\displaystyle V=\frac{d}{t}

The distance to get to Denver from the Hamilton Street Campus is d=1,778 miles. An estimated time of t=26 hours should be needed to cover that distance, thus you will need to travel at an average speed of:

\displaystyle V=\frac{1,778\ mi}{26\ h}

V = 68.4 mi/h

The average speed needed is 68.4 mi/h

_____________ part of this layer has a relatively homogeneous composition, while the other part is less uniform in composition
Over [174]

Answer:

Oceanic part of this layer has a relatively homogeneous composition, while the other part is less uniform in composition

Explanation:

Your question is base on the earth crust which is either oceanic crust or continental.

The earth Lithosperic layer is divided into two part namely the oceanic crust and the continental crust.

The oceanic crust is more uniform in composition than the continental crust because of the kind of earth events that is predominant here. For example sea floor spreading . The oceanic crust is composed dominantly of Mafic rocks. The Mafic rocks are extrusive igneous rocks. This rocks are formed when magma intrudes into the ocean surface, due to rapid cooling this rocks solidified quickly to form these rocks that are mainly basaltic. The oceanic rocks are dominantly basaltic. The basaltic dominance makes the oceanic crust relatively homogeneous in composition.

Events like sea floor spreading whereby the oceanic floor diverge forming two parts are one factors that causes mantle materials(molten magma) to reach the surface to form this basaltic rocks. The separating point, the mid oceanic ridges is where new crust are formed from the up-welling of magma. As you move away from the mid oceanic ridges the rocks become older.

If the net work done on an object is zero, what can you determine about the object's kinetic energy?(A) The object's kinetic ene
aev [14]

Answer:

(D) The object's kinetic energy is zero.

Explanation:

Work theory

Work (W) is defined as the product of force F) by the distance (d)the body travels due to this force:

W= F*d Formula ( 1)

The component of the force that performs work must be parallel to the displacement.

Kinetic Energy Theory

Kinetic energy is the energy associated with bodies that are in motion, depends on the mass and speed of the body.

Ek =(1/2)*m*v²

The kinetic energy, Ek, is measured in joules (J), the mass, m, is measured in kilograms (kg) and the velocity, v, in meters / second (m / s).

Relationship between work and kinetic energy

A body remains at rest if the force applied is zero or if it does not move. In both cases the work will be zero.

For work and kinetic energy to have a non-zero value, the body must be in motion.

In other words, the work is equal to zero if there is no displacement, so its speed will be zero, the same as its kinetic energy.

Eric is creating a timeline of the formation of the solar system. Which sequence best describes the formation of the solar syste
vlada-n [284]

The answer is C. nebular are star nurseries. When the massive gas being collapsing in its own weight. Local areas of gas begin to coalesce under gravity. Due to enormous pressure, nuclear fusion begins and a protostar is formed. The protostar grows into the sun as more hydrogen fuses at the core. The planetesimal materials at the edges of the protostellar discs coalesce to form planets that orbit the star.

What is the difference between washing of clothes at home and washing by dry cleaning at laundry
Arlecino [84]
The dry cleaning process uses chemicals to clean the clothes. It’s “dry” because it doesn't use water, as in normal wet laundering. Most laundries use chemicals to remove grease and stains from clothing.
