3 mi/1 hr x 60 mins/1 hr x (how many yards are in a mile)/1 mile put it in fraction form. as i did. and cancel out hrs. and miles. and your left with your yards and mins. multiply across. and you get a huge fraction. divide the bottom number by the top one and you get your answer (: P.S. its really not about the numbers at all. its more about canceling out the conversions to find the answers(:
