nevsk [136]

If she has already watched 1.5 hours and she can only watch 5 hours per week, then we have the inequality:
1.5 + T ≤ 5
where T is is the number of hours she can watch more before reaching her limit

If he needs 100 points, already has 40 and earns 2 for every movie, we have the inequality:
40 + 2m ≥ 100
where m is the number of movies he needs to watch

We can have the equation:
x + 1 = x + 2 - 1
This would result to:
x + 1 = x + 1
which have the same terms on both sides.
Further, the equation would be:
0 = 0

Stats To quality for a police academy, applicants are given a lest of physical Itness. Ihe scores are normallyDistributed with a
omeli [17]

Since we want just the top 20% applicants and the data is normally distributed, we can use a z-score table to check the z-score that gives this percentage.

The z-score table usually shows the percentage for the values below a certain z-score, but since the whole distribution accounts to 100%, we can do the following.

We want a z* such that:

P(z>z^*)=0.20

But, to use a value that is in a z-score table, we do the following:

\begin{gathered} P(zz^*)=1 \\ P(zz^*)=1-0.20=0.80 \end{gathered}

So, we want a z-score that give a percentage of 80% for the value below it.

Using the z-score table or a z-score calculator, we can see that:

\begin{gathered} P(zNow that we have the z-score cutoff, we can convert it to the score cutoff by using:[tex]z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}\Longrightarrow x=z\sigma+\mu

Where z is the z-score we have, μ is the mean and σ is the standard deviation, so:

\begin{gathered} x=0.8416\cdot9+64 \\ x=7.5744.64 \\ x=71.5744\cong72 \end{gathered}

so, the cutoff score is approximately 72.

Which set of sides will make a triangle?<br><br> -Middle School math-
trasher [3.6K]
Hey there!

The biggest side in the set of 3 lengths needs to be lower than the sum of the two lower numbers. So 3 is not lower than 1+1. 10 is not less than 3+4. 5 is the same as 3+2. This is not possible because this makes a line. So the biggest side can’t equal the sum of the two lower sides. 10 is less than 5+9. So the answer would be the last one. 10 cm, 5 cm, 9 cm.

I hope this helps!

The diameter of the circle is 10 units what is the radius of the circle
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

Radius is 5 units

Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of a circle will always be 1/2 of the diameter.

This gives the formula:

r=\frac{d}{2}

(substitute known values)

r=\frac{10}{2}

(divide 10 by 2)

r=5

Therefore the radius is five

Please help it’s due tonight. Your help will be greatly appreciated.There is also a graph. WILL PUT YOU AS BRAINLY!!!!!!
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer: see below

Step-by-step explanation:

The shape is a trapezoid

Base 1 (BH) is 10

Base 2 (QA) is 14

Height is 5

Area

A=\frac{base_{1} +base_{2} }{2} h

A=\frac{10+14}{2} *5\\A=12*5\\A=60

Find distance between QB and HA

D=\sqrt{(x_{2} -x_{1}) ^{2}+(y_{2}-y_{1})  ^{2}

Q( -4,4)  B (-2,9)

D=\sqrt{(-2--4)^{2}+(9-4)^{2}  } \\D=\sqrt{2^{2} +5^{2} } \\D=\sqrt{29}

Perimeter

P=10+14+2\sqrt{29} \\P=24 +2\sqrt{29} \\P= 24+10.77\\P=34.77
