first what you do is you rearrange the numbers so the eqaution is -2x+4=-2
SO what you do is (4) - 4 to cancel it out then you do the same thing on the other side so (-2)-4=-6 so the equation now is -2x=-6 then you divide -2 to cancel it out and you do the same thing -6 divide by -2 is 3 so the answer is 3
