Answer:

. Immune system functioning decreases slightly during the first stage, increases during the , second, and then decreases more significantly during the third stage.

Explanation:

At the initial stage the body system is in shock, there will be fear especially in the case of sudden occurrence or happening this will makes

the immune system decrease in function,

but after a while there will be a response, in case of fear an hormone is released called cortisol to calm such an individual and give a balance to the system this will then increase the function of the immune system but when fear an anxiety gets to a peak and the immune system couldn't response such as individual could collapse leading to a relapse in the immune system and a decrease in function.

According to Darwin’s On the Origin of Species, what four factors affect evolution? Explain how each factor affects evolution.
Kryger [21]

The 4 factors affect evolution, according to Darwin’s Origin of Species are;

Variation

Heritability

Competition

Differential survival

Variation ensures that there is variability of population traits on which selection pressures will apply.

Heritability means that the traits must be able to be passed down to offsprings through gametes.

Competition occurs when the individuals in the population compete for limited resources

Differential survival occurs due to competition for resources and other selection pressures. This result to the survival of the strongest and weeding out of the weak from the population.

Which type of organic molecule is wax?
Elena L [17]
<span>Wax is a simple form of lipid molecule. It consists of a long-chain of alcohol and a fatty acid. Many of the natural occurring wax found in nature are used as ingredients for products found in stores like ointments, hand cream, and cosmetics.

Plants have naturally occurring wax on their leaves and stems; these serve as coatings to prevent them from losing excess water. Other forms of wax found in nature are beeswax, used by bees to make their cones for honey and eggs; sperm whales have spermaceti wax found in their blubber; and carnuba wax, is an ingredient commonly used for car waxes, commonly found in Brazilian palm trees. </span>

HELP ME PLEASE! Which of the following biomes would be LEAST stable? A. Tundra
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Tundra

Explanation:

Ocean is the most stable biome, provides the majority of earths food and oxygen.

Rainforest provide 20% of earths food production. Also stable.

Grasslands although the don't get much rain it doesn't compare to the harsh weather that Tundra's face.

Tundra's is a very fragile environment. The freezing cold temperatures makes it a very difficult environment to survive in the winter, and plants and animals have a hard time coping with any extra stresses and disturbances. Therefore making it the least stable out of the rest listed.

Describe one type of factor that controls cell division.
irina [24]
The cell cycle is controlled by many cell cycle control factors, namely cyclins, cyclin-dependent kinases (Cdks) and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (CKIs). Cyclins and Cdks, which are positive regulators of the cell cycle, activate cell cycle factors that are essential for the start of the next cell cycle phase.

Factors Affecting Cell Division
Nutrients. The nutrients present in the cell affect cell division. ...
Genetics. Genetic code regulates cell division. ...
Chemicals. Exposure to toxic chemicals such as pesticides and some cleaning chemicals can cause cell mutation. ...
Stress. Stress affects cell division.
