Answer:

The McCartney Embassy, also called the McCartney Mission, was the first British diplomatic mission to China, which took place in 1793. It is named for its leader, George McCartney, Great Britain's first envoy to China. The goals of the mission included the opening of new ports for British trade in China, the establishment of a permanent embassy in Beijing, the cession of a small island for British use along China's coast, and the relaxation of trade restrictions on British merchants in Guangzhou (Canton). McCartney's delegation met with the Qianlong Emperor, who rejected all of the British requests. Although the mission failed to achieve its official objectives, it was later noted for the extensive cultural, political, and geographical observations its participants recorded in China and brought back to Europe.

__________ occurs when private businesses are allowed to supply services that government has traditionally provided.
Solnce55 [7]

The correct answer is B. Privatization

Explanation:

The term "privatization" refers to the process that implies moving services or similar from public or government to the private section. This implies services formerly provided by the government are transferred to private businesses that are in charge of providing the same services. This occurs in sectors such as education or prison management in which the state decides to pay to private companies or entities to provide services that are in charge of the government. This term is the opposite of "nationalization" in which private services or sector become public. Considering this, the one that occurs when private businesses are allowed to supply services that government provided is privatization.

How did the weak national government created by the articles of confederation cause problems for the new nation
nordsb [41]
The national government wasn’t able to tax the states leaving them without money, they count draft an army, leaving them with no power, etc. The flaws in the articles can be seen in Shay’s Rebellion when the farmers took over an arsenal and rebelled and the national government had no army to stop them so states had to rely on militias which was not effective.
