The answer is TRUE.

Social stratification refers to the division of a society in certain strata in terms of socioeconomic characteristics such as income, wealth or status derived from those two. For example, in Western societies such stratification is represented by the formation of different social classes.

Strafication was been analyzed by different lines of thought. According to conflict theories those social differentiations may lead to conflicts, such as in the Marxist theories. Marxism, for instance, states how people are differenced in terms of who owns the resources and who does not, the latter work for the first and social mobility is extremely difficult. Working classes are very unlikely to evolve socioeconomically. Those in the disavantaged positions may eventually rise against their situation and those who consider their oppresors.

Which helps to ensure that having a strong military does not pose a threat to U.S.<br> democracy?
olganol [36]

Answer:

Civil control of the military

Explanation:

Currently, the highest military's orders for the militaria do not belong to the military's officers, It is held by the president and the congress has the power to structure the military's.

Both the presidents and the Congress can be replaced by the people through elections. So, if the people do not like how any of these people control the military's they can easily elect another candidate who want to do things according to the people's will.

This civil control is how we ensure having a strong military does not pose a threat to U.S. democracy
