If Im not mistaken, the answer should be d because if you add all the degrees up, then you would get 222. And if you subtract 360 from 222 you get 138. I hope this helps. :)

klio [65]

An example of a trig function that includes multiple transformations and how it is different from the standard trig function is; As detailed below

<h3>How to interpret trigonometric functions in transformations?</h3>

An example of a trigonometric function that includes multiple transformations is; f(x) = 3tan(x - 4) + 3

This is different from the standard function, f(x) = tan x because it has a vertical stretch of 3 units and a horizontal translation to the right by 4 units, and a vertical translation upwards by 3.

Another way to look at it is by;

Let us use the function f(x) = sin x.

Thus, the new function would be written as;

g(x) = sin (x - π/2), and this gives us;

g(x) = sin x cos π/2 - (cos x sin π/2)  = -cos x

This will make a graph by shifting the graph of sin x π/2 units to the right side.

Now, shifting the graph of sin xπ/2 units to the left gives;

h(x) = sin (x + π/2/2)

Solve this system of equations <br> -2x+5y+4z=-4<br> -5x-y+z=-1<br> 2y+2z=-4
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

x = -1, y = 2 and z = -4.

Step-by-step explanation:

-2x + 5y + 4z = -4   ......(A)

-5x - y + z = -1   .............(B)

2y + 2z = -4..................(C)         Multiply (A) by 5 and (B) by -2:

-10x + 25y + 20z = -20 ....(D)

10x  + 2y - 2z = 2 ..............(E)    Adding D + E:

27y + 18z = -18    Dividing by 9:

3y + 2z = -2  ............(F)      Subtract: (C) - (F):

-y = -2

y = 2.

Substitute for y is (C):

4 + 2z = -4

2z = -8

z = -4.

Substitute for y and z in (A):

-2x + 5(2) + 4(-4) = -4

-2x = -10 + 16 - 4 = 2

x = -1.
