According to the study conducted in 1960, around 78% of the people in United States describe themselves as Christian. In 2019, only 65% of them did.  

As knowledges became much easier to obtain, the amount of people who were turned away from the things that can't be explained by science also increased. This cause a decrease in religious population in General.  Christianity took the biggest hit In United States because it's the biggest religion here.
