Step-by-step explanation:

This is a cute question lol.

So this lil snail is trying to go 1609 meters, at a speed of 0.01 m/s (meters per second). Lets see how long that takes.

The way I like to do conversion problems is by starting with the value that doesn't have something on the bottom (1609 m) then multiplying to get rid of that variable.

I'll show you what I mean:

\frac{1609 m}{1} *\frac{1 s}{0.01 m} *\frac{1 min}{60s} *\frac{1 hr}{60 min}

Then, we just multiply everything.

\frac{1609 *1*1}{1*0.01*60*60}hr

Simplify.

\frac{1609}{36}hr

Divide.

44.694444444...hr

Round to the nearest whole hour.

45 hr

45 hours

Answer:

45 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

1 mile * <u>1609 meters </u>  *   <u>   1 s         </u>   = 160900 sec

               1 mile               .01 meters

160900 sec / 60 /60 = 44.7 = 45 hours

What is the location of F on the decimal number line below?<br> Write your answer as a decimal
Masja [62]

Answer:

6.45

Step-by-step explanation:

Every part is 0.01 bigger or smaller

You can find it out by subtraction and then division

6.5 - 6.4 = 0.1

0.1 : 10 = 0.01

There are 10 parts that's why you divide it by 10.

If there will be 2 parts you will divide by 2

Which expression gives the same result as shown problem?
sineoko [7]
The first choice gives you the same result. The factor of 5 can be removed to the outside of the summation symbol.

5\sum\limits_{i=0}^{4}{\left(\dfrac{1}{3}\right)^{i}}

Answer:

45

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation is in vertex form a(x-p)^2 + q, ergo giving us the highest point of the parabola, so q (in this case 45 is the highest point in meters, where p multiplied by (-1) is the time taken to reach that height

Which pairs of rectangles are similar polygons?<br><br> Select each correct answer.
oee [108]
The corrects answers are B and D for this one.

Since you divide the same side for both the the rectangles on both parts and if the division statements are equaled, then they are similar.

For example;

Answer B.
50 / 10 = 5
and
30 / 6 = 5

Answer D.
7.5 / 2.5 = 3
and
4.5 / 1.5 = 3

Since they both equal the same for both of the rectangles for the answers individually, they are similar polygon rectangles.

Hope this helps!
