Answer:

See explanation below.

Explanation:

The psychoanalytic perspective has its base in the concept of the unconscious, it states that we, have deep instincts that most of the time we're not aware of and they influence our day-to-day life. It also states that we cannot really fully comprehend us totally because there are part of us which are "subconscious", meaning that they are not known to the conscious mind. According to this perspective, people are, at least, neurotic. This theory usually focuses in the things the person is lacking. It also puts a lot of attention on the childhood of the persons, saying that it is during that period of our lives where most of our traumas came from and made us who we are today. It's a deterministic perspective. "Childhood is destiny".

On the other hand, the Humanistic perspective has a more "positive" vision of the human being. This perspective sees us as people with the capacity to grow and achieve our fullest potential (something that is not possible in the psychoanalytic perspective). It also states that we can comprehend ourselves and become better persons. Basically, this theory focus in the positive parts of the person. This perspective does not put emphasis on the past of the person but in the present and the things the person is dealing with now. This perspective says that our childhood did have some influence on us but doesn't think that this influence is deterministic but it thinks that we have the will to change who the circumstances made us be to become who really are.

Psychoanalytic theory is the theory of personality organization and the dynamics of personality development that guides psychoanalysis, a clinical method for treating psychopathology while behaviorism is the theoretical perspective in which learning and behavior are described and explained in terms of stimulus-response relationships.

Aleks04 [339]

Answer: Enlightenment Dream

Explanation: The the 1700s to the 1800s marked the period of Enlightenment and philosophers of the time such as Kant believed that one of the important conditions in achieving enlightenment is freedom. He also assumed that the people oppressing the weak in society will not want to give up their power.

Another thinker of the era of Enlightenment, Socrates believed in using public arguments to fight for what is right, in such a way that the powerful have no choice but to listen to the ruled

Dr. Martin King fought for freedom through arguments, without the use of violence. This is what this paragraph means by calling him an heir to the Enlightenment dream. He used methods thinkers of the Enlightenment Era believed would work in such a situation.

What are the pros and cons of living on an island?
Luba_88 [7]
This is my opinion lacking research

It actually involves the size of the island and the location.

If it were a small island you might lack critical things you need for survival. ( con )

But you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the island and get to experience what its like to live on an island ( PRO )

Dangerous animals could inhabit the island putting your life in danger ( CON )

When living on the island you wont have to inhale the mostly polluted air found in cities but this more different if you're in Hawaii  ( PRO )

- last one - Some islands have volcanos and constant earthquakes which could also put your life in danger ( CONS )

hope this helped  :)
