Explanation:

In those moments, you aren't thinking about what it is you're actually doing. Your mind doesn't function logically. Its a fight or flight reaction. You aren't going to be in a corner with someone who plans to murder and stop to think about if what you're doing is right or wrong. You're going to don whatever it takes to defend yourself. So I don't believe its fair to go and hold somebody accountable for actions that they didn't want to do, but had to our of defense.
