For the two sides, do find the area by doing 2((base x height) / 2)so..
2.5 x 6 = 15m^2

The base is simply a rectangle so 6 x 10 = 60m^2

The top is 6.5 x 10 = 65m^2

The back is 2.5 x 10 = 25m^2

Add all of these up together to get

15 + 60 + 65 + 25 = 165m^2

Hope this helps! Any questions let me know :)

Given a line segment that contains the points A,B,& C in order, if AB = x + 12, and Bo2.4, and AC = 26 = ?
natulia [17]

Answer:

x=11.6

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the angle addition postulate, if B lies on AC, than AB+BC=AC.

We can use this to create this equation.

x+12+2.4=26 Where x+12 is the value of AB and 2.4 is BC.

The next step is to combine like terms, so we add 12 to 2.4 to get

x+14.4=26. When trying to find the value of a variable, you must isolate it. To do this for this equation, we must subtract 14.4 from both sides which will give you.

x=11.6

Hope this helps. If you have any follow-up questions or I misunderstood the question, please tell me and I will fix it or explain more.

Have a great day! :)

The soccer team collected $800 at a car wash fundraiser. They charged $5.00 for small vehicles and $10.00 for larger vehicles. T
AURORKA [14]
So, we know this:

5x+10y = 800

and we also know that the number of larger vehicles was 50.

So we can substitute:

5x+10y = 800

5x+10*50 = 800

and calculate:

5x+500 = 800

and now subtract 500 from both sides:

5x=300

and divide by 5:

x=60.

and this is our answer: there were 60 smaller vehicles washed!
