Selective permeability is the cell walls ability to let things in or keep them out depending on what they are. Things like water and helpful nutrients can pass through the cell wall, but things that may harm the plant cannot.

The cow bos primigenius (which is bred for meat and milk) has a smaller brain and larger eyes than closely related wild species
zubka84 [21]
they arose by artificial selection. this is because to obtain animal with this traits, there is an interference by humans. i.e these organisms do not result from natural selection. the process of obtaining organisms with increased number of desirable traits is referred to as hybrid vigor. in this process an animal with certain desirable trait is bred with another animal with another different type of desirable trait. the resulting offspring will have both desirable traits.

What would happen to the nutrients in an ecosystem if decomposers, such as bacteria, didn’t exist there?
OLga [1]
<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2>

Decomposers and scavengers break down dead plants and animals. They also break down the waste (poop) of other organisms. Decomposers are very important for any ecosystem.

The absence of decomposers in Earth would cause irreversible damage to the planet's wildlife. Carcasses and dead leaves will cover the surface the planet without getting broken down.

If there were no decomposers. Wastes and the remains of dead organisms would pile up and the nutrients within the waste and dead organisms would not be released back into the ecosystem. Producers would not have enough nutrients.

If they weren't in the ecosystem, the plants would not get essential nutrients, and dead matter and waste would pile up and life will end for ever and our beautifull will be destroy.
