Answer and Explanation:

Donavan: He is Eric Haskins' best friend, but he represents abandonment, because he leaves Eric as soon as Bullying begins, joining the bullies and forgetting all the friendship established between them. He does this to not be bullied too and to be able to be part of the popular ones.

Melody: she is also a friend of Erik and a target of bullies, but she tries to face them and not show inferiority in front of them. It represents the resistance and non-conformity with the bullying that is submitted.

Colin: You are also bullied for sexuality. Colin is very withdrawn and cannot defend himself from bullies. He represents people who are ashamed of themselves because of other people's prejudiced concepts.

2. How does the author describe most surfers' response to the trend of aerial
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

B.

Explanation:

In the article titled "Surfer's Up" by Pearl Tesler, the author reveals the emergence of aerial maneuvers in surfing. The author points out that how such aerial maneuvers were ignored by the jury while judging their surfing skills. But lately, the jury have decided to judge the skills of surfers not only on the basis of how long they remain on the waves but by the difficulty level as well.

Therefore, the surfer's response to the trend of aerial maneuvers being incorporated into surfing and surfing competition is relieved and happy. They, now, can show their best moves and give a tough fight to their competitors.

Thus option B is correct.
