Answer and Explanation:

1. The court's decision was that the press has the complete right to expose information from any government sector, including information related to the executive sector, even if that information were related and were in the possession of the president of the republic.

2. I agree with the court's decision, since government information must be exposed to the people who are the center of national politics. This prevents important information from being hidden from the public and that possible cases of corruption from proceeding and cannot be judged by popular opinion.

3. This case is important today because it guarantees the rights defended by the first amendment, ensuring that the press cannot be limited by the government and promoting the free exercise of information.

A. Rose is lost and pulls her car into Micha's driveway for a moment to get her bearings.  B. Oscar is a twelve-year-old neighbor of Micha's who has snuck into Micha's backyard to swim in his pool.  C. Juanita is a customer having a latte in the coffee shop Micha owns and operates.  D. Ron is Micha's friend whom Micha has invited to his home to watch the Super Bowl.

Answer:

C. Juanita is a customer having a latte in the coffee shop Micha owns and operates.

Explanation:

Micha is responsible for all the people in her cafeteria, as well as being responsible for the food security of her customers. For this reason, we can say that when Juanita enters Micha's cafeteria, she consumes her products, she becomes Micha's responsibility. The other scenarios shown in the question, do not have the direct responsibility of Micha, or do not require any responsibility from her, but from third parties.

How does the Supreme Court determine whether or not to hear a case?
spayn [35]

Answer:

The Supreme Court is the highest court of all the land. There is much discretion, involving a lengthy process for a case to be accepted within this prestigious Court. Much like the President vetoing or accepting a bill to become a law. You see, the Supreme Court determines to hear a case through a unison of votes from at least four Justices. This vote is known as the "Rule of Four". They will review everything from the case's background to how well the case would withstand during the trial. In order to do so, they read the petition for certiorari. Before doing any of this, however, you will need to, of course, file a lawsuit within your district. I wish you luck if you are attempting to bring your case to the supremacy.
