Answer:

P(A and B) = P(AnB)

Step-by-step explanation:

P( \frac{A}{B} ) =  \frac{P(AnB)}{P(B)}  \\from \: bayes \: theorem \\  P(AnB) = P(B) \times P( \frac{A}{B}) \\  = 0.45 \times 0.7 \\  = 0.315

ONE GEOMETRY QUESTION PLEASE I'M FAILING AND HAVING A MENTAL BREAKDOWN AS WE SPEAK AAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA
Zinaida [17]
So this circle has two lines, called tangent lines, coming off of it. How do we know they're tangent lines? They each just touch the circle at a single point (and make a right angle with a radius at that point), R for one, T for the other. And these two lines make an angle. We are asked to find the measure of this angle.

Once you learn this rule, you can apply it easily. The theorem states that if two secant lines, tangent lines, or one of each form an angle outside of the circle, then that angle is half the major arc minus the minor arc \frac{1}{2}(major \ arc \ - \ minor \ arc). That sounds confusing, I know, but basically we take the major arc TR, which has to be 360° – 134° = 226° (remember, the total has to be 360°, and one piece is 134°), and subtract the minor arc TR, which is 134°, so we get 92°. Remember, we want half of the difference, so half of 92°, which is 46°.

I really hope you are able to pass. Reach out to your teacher, use online resources like Khan Academy, ask classmates, and so on. Best of luck on your gradation!

A bin contains three components from supplier a, four from supplier b, and five from supplier
TEA [102]
<span>The number of ways to select one component from each supplier is 3*4*5 since you can choose one of three from A, in each case you can then choose 1 of 4 from B and lastly for each selection from A and B you have 5 possible choices for C. After that you have 12-3=9 components left for choice of the fourth component to test. Thus there will be 3*4*5*9 different ways to choose at least one from each supplier.</span>

Ariana borrows $200 on a 6-year loan.She is charged 5% simple interest per year.How much interest is she charged for 6 years?Wha
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

Results are below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Giving the following information:

Principal (P)= $200

Interst rate (r)= 0.05

Time (t)= 6

F<u>irst, we need to calculate the total interest using the following formula:</u>

I= P*r*t

I= 200*0.05*6

I= $60

<u>Now, the total debt:</u>

Total debt= P +I

Total debt= 200 + 60

Total debt= $260

Textbooks are exempted from PST in Ontario. If the total cost of a book
Andrei [34K]

Answer:

4.24

Step-by-step explanation:

Total price = price of the book + 5% of the price of the book

T = total price   P = price of the book G = GST

T = P + G

and

G = 5% of P = 0.05P

therefore

T = P + 5%P = 1P + 0,05P = 1.05P

P = T/1.05 = 89/1.05 ≅ 84.76 (it is 84.7619047619)

G = 89 - 84.76 = 4.24
