Answer:

Jake offered Janet, Moral Support.

Explanation:

When Janet's grandfather died and Jake heard the news of her grandfather's demise, he visited her, offer her food, give her sympathy card, stood by her side in the hour of grieve. His this gesture provides a moral support benefit to Janet. Her grandfather can never come back, but she would feel better in the presence of her friends in this time of lament. This is the moral support which is given by the family and close friends in such unhappy situations. Standing side by side with the friends in the distressed situation is very much needed. This moral support may help them come out of this sad situation. So Jake provides Janet, a true Moral Support.

tangare [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

The most important health effects of physical activity are enhanced cognitive and physiologic state. The rate of individuals performing physical activities is constantly being increased nowadays, according to recent studies.

There are certain differences between exercise and sports. An exercise is a form of physical activity performed to improve an individual's health and fitness. Sport is complex, institutionalized, competitive and mostly against moderate and rhythmical exercise.

Fitness involves repetitive bodily movement performed to improve or maintain one or more of the components of physical fitness. For example, cardio exercises cause respiratory fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition.

Recent studies have shown that individuals of all ages who are generally inactive can improve their health and well-being by becoming active at a moderate-intensity regularly. Obesity and lack of fitness are associated with all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. The health goals of fitness are to decrease the chance for the onset of type II diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease.

The additional benefits of fitness are in the control of body weight, reduction of feelings such as depression and anxiety, maintenance of healthy bones, muscles and joints. Fitness reduces the risk of developing colon cancer, It helps in the reduction of blood pressure in the individuals who already suffer from hypertension. Fitness leads to the development of the new blood vessels in the heart and their body muscles. It leads to the enlargement of the arteries that supply blood to the heart and other vital organs.

Thus, fitness may reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer. The regular physical activity controls and/or prevents the development of these diseases it enhances mental abilities, improve sleeping habits and increases energy levels. Fitness decreases the chance for the onset of depression and helps to manage stress and stimulates immune functions. Fitness activates antioxidant enzymes that protect cells from oxidative radical damage. It further regulates bodyweight leading to the improvement of self-confidence.

There are proven short term benefits on mind: enhances alertness due to the release of epinephrine and norepinephrine), improves memory, improves intellectual function and stimulates creativity. The long-term benefits are in the reversal of the age-related decline in mental functions and loss of short-term memory.
