This phase comes after the dev team designs the algorithm and creates a flow chart of the algorithm. This flow chart is what is used to create the code itself. After the code is complete then the dev team will go into the testing/debugging phase where they will test the program with different test cases. If any bugs/errors are found they will return to the code and implement changes to fix these errors.
