As given,

weight of 1 snow globe = 1.5 kg

So,

Weight of x snow globe = 1.5x

As given,

She have to take them in a suitcase of weight 2.4 kg

∴

For number of snow globes we have the equation,

1.5x = 2.4

⇒x = \frac{2.4}{1.5} = 1.6

So, the maximum number of snow balls can bought back = 1.6
