Two phone companies, Unitel and Cellberry, offer different cell phone data plans. Unitel's plan charges $19.95 per month and $14

.95 for each gigabyte of data. Cellberry's plan charges $9.95 per month and $17.50 for each gigabyte of data.
a. Write a system of equations to represent the two plans and solve it by graphing.

b. Interpret the solution to the system. How many gigabytes do you get when the two plans cost the same amount. What will the cost of the plans be?

c. If you need more than 3.92 gigabytes of data, which company should you choose.

answer

system : 8L+ 4S = 120

               L + S = 20

There are 10 small packs and 10 large packs

step by step answer :

to form the two systems, we have to determine the catagories of the 2 equations : one for money and one for the no of packs

after forming the two equations we simply put the numbers in the same order put above on the calculator ( mode 5:1) and the calaculator will answer it in seconds . 10 small packs and 10 large packs.

To  check your answer , substitute the letters with their values and if both equations gave you the same value at the end then your answer is correct!

Equation B simplifies to 1 = -1 for a ≠ 0. It is never true.

Equation C simplifies to 2a = 0. It is true only for a = 0.

Equation D simplifies to 2a = 0. It is only true for a = 0.

Find the slope of the line that passes through each pair of points. (-3, 1 )and (-17, 2)
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

1/-14 or 1 over - 14

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation you need is: y2-y1  over x2-x1

So if you plug it in it becomes 2-1 over -17 -(-3) so 2 - 1 is 1 that's the easy part, 17 - (-3) is the hard part because you can't minus a negative. So it becomes -17+3 which is still -14 because you take the sign of the bigger number. Sorry if it's hard to understand :(

What is the negative root of 2x^2 + x − 6 = 0
max2010maxim [7]
Hello!

Here we can use the quad formula to solve for the x values or roots.
x=(-2+or - \sqrt{2^2-4*2*-6})/2*2 = -2 and 3/2
The negative root for this equation is x=-2

We find the roots of an equation by solving for x by different ways, most common ones being the quadratic formula of x= [-b +/-sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/2a or factoring and setting equal to zero and solving for x value(s) that way. Also the roots are where the graph of the equation crosses the x-axis.

Hope this helps. Any questions please just ask. Thank you kindly
