Jennie finds a correlation between marital satisfaction and sexual frequency. Based on this information, what conclusion should
faltersainse [42]

Correlation is the measure of the similarity in the trend of two variables or between the pattern of functional change between any two variables. A high correlation indicates that one variable follows the same pattern as the other variable does. However through correlation, one cannot say that the two variables are functionally related to each other. Example, pattern of weather change and change in population of humans. These two are not related but similarities in their pattern of change will wrongly indicate that there's a relation between the two. Similarly between marital satisfaction and sexual frequency, a correlation may mean that one varies like the other. However, marital satisfaction is also strongly depending on economical situation of the subjects, behaviour, complex emotions, etc. And the order of these variables will influence the marital satisfaction. Her findings are not useful in establishing any relationship between the two.

Describe how is an organism's food and habitat related
Brums [2.3K]
As we already know, organism mean's something that is living.
Well, at a habitat there is going to be some animal's or insect's because it's that animal's or insect's habitat. ( They live there.) Well most organism's are food.
( NOTICE I bloldfaced "most", this is because not all organism's are food) Okay, let's go over what we just said. Organism's are living thing's and habitat's are places where organism's live. Now we have to think about this, you stated, Describe how is an organism's food and habitat related. The one thing we have not talked about is, organism's food. Okay, Animal's live in habitat's and so do organism's.
( Remember, some organism's eat other organism's) This is how organism's food and habitat are related.

Hope this help's!
Good luck on your
home work! (:

A sample of gold (AU) has a mass of 57.01 g.
Kamila [148]

A). Calculation: Given mass of Au * 1mol of Au/molar mass of Au= # of moles ;

57.01 g Au*1 mole of Au/196.97g Au=0.3 moles of Au. So the answer is 0.3 moles of gold(Au). Good luck on the rest, and message me on Brainly if you need more help. I'll be happy to.

____________ is the process by which inhibitory transmitters cause the inside of the neuron to become more negative.
lidiya [134]

Answer:

Hyperpolarization

Explanation:

At the synapse, neurotransmitters bind to neurotransmitter receptors in the postsynaptic neuron’s plasma membrane. This results in the opening of the ions channels and the flow of specific ions to change the voltage across the membrane. An inhibitory neurotransmitter inhibits the firing of the action potential by making the inside of the membrane more negative. It is called hyperpolarization (inhibition).

It may occur when the neurotransmitter opens the Cl– or K+ channels to allow the movement of chloride ions into the cell while permitting the outward movement of potassium ions to make the inside of the cell more negative.
