Okay so for the #1 it says that it take 1/2 (half) a day to paint 1/4 of your bedroom and we want to know how many days it would take to paint all of the bedroom, so 4/4 of the bedroom.
We can say that
1/2(number of day) = 1/4(how much you painted)
to paint all of your room you would have to have painted 4/4 of your room
to get to 4/4 i multiplied 1/4 by 4
you do the same thing to 1/2 so 1/2•4=2
So it would take 2 days to paint all (4/4) of your bed room

I dont if im clear but just think about it
If you take half a day to pain 1/4 of your room, in one day you would’ve painted 2/4 of your room, so in one day you paint 2/4 of your room. And in 2 days you paint 4/4 of your room

The inside of an oven is set to rise to a temperature of 298°F. So far it has risen 76% If this amount.
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

226.48°F

Step-by-step explanation:

Temperature of the oven = 298°F

if it has risen 76% of this amount so far, the number of degrees Fahrenheit the inside of the oven has risen so far can be expresses as:

= 76% of 298

= 76/100 * 298

= (76*298)/100

= 0.76*298

= 226.48°F

The temperature inside the oven so far is 226.48°F

you are 55 ft from a tree. the angle of elevation from your eyes, which are 4.5 ft off the ground, to the top of tree is 61 degr
malfutka [58]
See the attached figure to better understand the problem

we know that
in the triangle ABC
tan 61=BC/AC-------> BC=AC*tan 61--------> BC=55*tan 61-----> BC=99.22 ft

tall of the tree =BC+CD-----> 99.22+4.5----> 103.72 ft------> 104 ft

the answer is
104 ft

Which ordered pairs in the form (x, y)(x, y) are solutions to the equation 3x−4y=213x−4y=21 ?
Natalija [7]
None of these couples are solutions, (11, 3)(11, 3); (−1, −6)(−1, −6); (−3, 3)(−3, 3); (7, 0). Perhaps the choice of answer are insufficient. we can add (1, 48) the couple (7, 0) and (7, 0)(1, 48) is a true answer, why? because it verifies the equation.
