Okay so for the #1 it says that it take 1/2 (half) a day to paint 1/4 of your bedroom and we want to know how many days it would take to paint all of the bedroom, so 4/4 of the bedroom.
We can say that
1/2(number of day) = 1/4(how much you painted)
to paint all of your room you would have to have painted 4/4 of your room
to get to 4/4 i multiplied 1/4 by 4
you do the same thing to 1/2 so 1/2•4=2
So it would take 2 days to paint all (4/4) of your bed room

I dont if im clear but just think about it
If you take half a day to pain 1/4 of your room, in one day you would’ve painted 2/4 of your room, so in one day you paint 2/4 of your room. And in 2 days you paint 4/4 of your room

Finding the perimeter? The length of a rectangle is 5cm longer than its width. If the perimeter of a rectangle is 30cm Find it’s
castortr0y [4]

Answer:

50cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width be x cm

The length will be x + 5 cm

Perimeter is 30cm

Perimeter is given by (2 × length) + ( 2 × width)

2(x + 5) + 2x = 30cm

2x + 10 + 2x = 30cm

4x = 20cm , x = 20/4 = 5cm

x (width) = 5cm

Length = 5 + 5 = 10cm

Area = Length × width

Area = 10cm × 5cm = 50cm²

What is 20% of 180<br>please i realy need to answer this
blagie [28]

Answer:

36

20 percent * 180 =

(20:100)* 180 =

(20* 180):100 =

3600:100 = 36

Now we have: 20 percent of 180 = 36

Question: What is 20 percent of 180?

Percentage solution with steps:

Step 1: Our output value is 180.

Step 2: We represent the unknown value with $x$.

Step 3: From step 1 above,$180=100\%$.

Step 4: Similarly, $x=20\%$.

Step 5: This results in a pair of simple equations:

$180=100\%(1)$.

$x=20\%(2)$.

Step 6: By dividing equation 1 by equation 2 and noting that both the RHS (right hand side) of both

equations have the same unit (%); we have

$\frac{180}{x}=\frac{100\%}{20\%}$

Step 7: Again, the reciprocal of both sides gives

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: &lt;SPT = &lt;RQT, ST = RT Prove: PR = QS
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider triangles PTS and QTR. In these triangles,

  • ST=RT - given;
  • \angle SPT=\angle RQT - given;
  • \angle STP=\angle RTQ - as vertical angles when lines PR and SQ intersect.

Thus, \triangle PTS\cong \triangle QTR by AAS postulate.

Congruent triangles have congruent corresponding sides, so

PT=QT

Consider segments PR and QS:

PR=PT+TR\ [\text{Segment addition postulate}]\\ \\QS=QT+TS\ [\text{Segment addition postulate}]\\ \\PT=QT\ [\text{Proven}]\\ \\ST=RT\ [\text{Given}]

So,

PR=SQ\ [\text{Substitution property}]

ioda

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that in a high school graduating class of 202 students, 95 are on the honor roll. Of these, 71 are going on to college, and of the other 107 students, 53 are going on to college.

Total students = 202

Honor roll = 95

College going out of honor = 71

Non college going out of honor = 24

Not in honor roll = 107

Not going to college from not in honour = 53

The probabilities that the person chosen is

(a) going to college,  = \frac{71+53}{202} \\=0.614

(b) not going to college, =\frac{202-124}{202} \\=0.485

(c) on the honor roll, but not going to college

=\frac{24}{202} \\=0.119
