Explain why having three congruent angles in two triangles is not a good way to prove two

Draw an equilateral triangle with side lengths of 1. Each angle here is 60 degrees, which is true of any equilateral triangle.

Now draw another equilateral triangle that has side lengths of 2 units. Clearly this triangle is not the same size as the previous one, but the angles are all still 60 degrees.

We have an example in which there are 2 triangles with the same angles, but the triangles are not congruent. Therefore, having info about congruent angles only isn't sufficient to prove triangles to be congruent.

A pitcher can throw at a speed of 30 miles per hour. If the pitcher is 60.5 feet from home plate, how many full seconds would it
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

1.375 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

One mile is equivalent to 5280 feet.  Throwing at 30 miles an hour is 0.5 miles each minute, or one mile every 120 seconds(Unfortunately for the pitcher, I don't think the ball would make it to home plate). That means it travels 1/120 miles each second, or 44 feet(5280/120). The ball will reach home plate in 1.375 seconds(60.5/44).

Answer:

1.012 \times {10}^{ - 4}

Step-by-step explanation:

move the decimal so there is one non-zero digit to the left of the decimal point. the number of decimal places you move will be the exponent on the 10. if the decimal is being moved to the right, the exponent will be negative. if the decimal is being moved to the left, the exponent will be positive.

LAST QUESTION ON MY TEST PLEASE HELP
Kipish [7]

Answer:

x = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

For this question, you can use power of a point, more specifically when two secants intersect in the interior of a circle. From this, you get the equation:

(7 + x)(12) = (10)(2x + 2)

You can simplify and solve:

84 + 12x = 20x + 20

84 = 8x + 20

64 = 8x

x = 8

A particle moves along the x-axis so that its velocity in feet per second at time x, in seconds, is modeled by the quadratic fun
Katyanochek1 [597]

For this case we have the following equation:

y = 2x ^ 2 - 10x + 12

Where, we have the following variables:

x: time in seconds

y: speed in feet per seconds

For the initial velocity, we evaluate x = 0 in the given equation:

y = 2 (0) ^ 2 - 10 (0) + 12\\y = 12

Therefore, the initial speed is 12 feet per second.

Answer:

The particle's initially velocity is 12.
