Answer:

253 mmHg

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the atmospheric pressure, P(a) = 760e^{-0.13a}

when a = height (in km) = 8.47 km, then the atmospheric pressure P(a) is

P(a) = 760e^{-0.13a}\\P(8.47) = 760e^{-0.13X8.47}\\P(8.47) = 760e^{-1.1011} \\P(8.47 )= 760 X 0.33251 \\P(8.47)= 252.7 mmHg\\

P(8.47) ≅ 253 mmHg

Please help with 17, 19, and 21 using trigonometry. Thanks!
omeli [17]
I honestly don’t know. But the square in the bottom of the triangles indicate that it is a right triangle equaling 90 degrees. You can try using that along with other knowledge of right triangles you have. Could you possibly use Pythagorean theorem also?

Carl's Jr $70 2 per hour to mow lawn plus an additional $5 to cover the cost of gasoline how much will Carlos charge if he works
Mariana [72]
The function for this would be
f(x)= 70x + 5

Plug the 4 and half hours (4.5) into the function

f(x) = (70 x 4.5) + 5
You then get 315 from multiplying 70 and 4.5. Then add the additional 5 from gasoline.
You end up with 320$ for working 4 and a half hours
