Design an appropriate type of meaningful drill you will use to teach the grammar topic, Noun Clause, to SHS 2 students.

English

Korvikt [17]3 years ago

Answer and Explanation:

A meaningful drill suitable for teaching students what a substantive clause is would be a list with several sentences where some contain the substantive clause and others do not. In this case, students should identify the sentences that contained the substantive clauses and underline these clauses.

It is important to point out that the noun clause is the dependent clause that replaces the noun, which is the class of words that gives name to any element. An example of this noun clause can be seen in the sentence "She was frightened by the sight in front of her," where the term "the sight in front of her" replaces a noun and is therefore a noun clause.

In addition, it is important to remember that a meaningful drill is an exercise where the resolution depends on the understanding of the subject discussed.

BlackZzzverrR [31]
The correct answer is D.

This excerpt shows the reader the setting (an empty lot ringed by elms and honeysuckle; a blue sky with cirrus clouds); the characters (Bill, Chuck, Ron, Jim, and Dennis) and the situation (a baseball game).

In only a few lines, the poet is able to convey a lot of information to the reader.

Which is a theme that runs through this story?
svp [43]

Answer:

The theme of this story is ( D) Not everything is as scary as it seems

Explanation:

We human beings have filled our lives with unnecessary tensions and fears. Some of our worries are genuine but most of them are not genuine. We have our own perceptions and viewpoints regarding different things..

If instead of facing the reality we try to fear than our problems will multiply, but if we become bold and face the problems strongly than the problem automatically vanishes.Like in a story of caterpillar and a hare ,the caterpillar was trying to scare the hare by taking the possession of hare's house .Caterpillar boomed out loudly to hare that "i am the one who crush the rhinos  and tramples the elephants into dust".This voice scared the hare a lot.He thought caterpillar to be a huge animal. So hare got scared to enter it's own house. But at the end hare got to know it was only a caterpillar and he was unnecessary getting scared.

Same goes with our lives,it is not as complicated as we have made it by keeping thousand of worries and fears in our mind.We must try to overcome each and every fear by facing it,rather than running away from it.This is the only key to success.
