Climate of that area and topography make the castle strong and difficult for the enemy to conquer it.

Explanation:

The factors that contributed to the development of feudalism are the Climate of that area, topography and geography of the land also encouraged to bring changes in design and construction of castle. The hilly topography is the best for building castle because the enemy did not attack on the castle easily and the climate is also very harsh due to which the enemy can't extend the siege of the castle so we can say that climate and topography are the essential factors to considered in building castle.
