In the study of social psychology, stereotype is understood as having an over-generalized notion about an individual based on his/her particular society or group.
In most cases, it is the practice of developing a negative attitude towards individuals or groups of people who come from a particular community.
For instance, when an individual develops a negative attitude towards another individual just because he/she is from a community that is usually perceived as bad or inferior, it is called stereotyping.
I say this because if the government or the people who "rule" over the country and they do nothing about these issues the people are going to riot and make sure their voices are heard.
