N is an integer and -2 Write down the possible values of n, from smallest to largest.

Mathematics

3 0

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

-2 < n+3 ≤ 4

Make two separate equations,

-2 < n+3

Subtract 3 from both sides,

-2-3 < n + 3 -3

-5 < n

So, value of n should be greater than (-5)

n +3 ≤ 4

Subtract 3 from both sides

n ≤ 1

So, n value should be less than or equal to 1

So, n value should be greater than -5 and less than or equal to 1

n= { -4, -3 , -2 , -1 ,0 ,1 }

Which of the following equations represents the greatest value of x?
jonny [76]
Hey mate!
You stuck?

^3 The cube root of 125=5
^2 The square root of 35=5.91
^3 The cube root of 64=4
^2 The square root of 38=6.16

Therefore your answer would be x2= 38, because 6.16 is greater than the other sums.

Hope this helps! :) (Don't forget Brainliest) :)

Hayden wanted to investigate whether there was a difference in the time spent in the checkout line between two grocery stores. S
Ber [7]

Answer:

No. The data in this study were not based on a random method. This is a key requirement for an inference to be made from the two-sample t-test.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Hayden can use the two-sample t-test (also known as the independent samples t-test)to find out if there was a difference in the time spent in the checkout time between two grocery stores and to conclude whether the difference in the average checkout time between the two stores is really significant or if the difference is due to a random chance. There are three conditions to be met when using the two-sample t-test.

2. The first condition is that the sampling method must be random. This requirement was not met in this study. Each customer from each store should have an equal chance of being selected for the study. This was not achieved.

3. The distributions of the sample data are approximately normal. This is achieved with a large sample size of 30 customers selected for each study.

4. The last but not the least condition is the independence of the sample data. Sample data here is independent for both samples.

We know that
a1=1
a2=3
a3=9
a2/a1=3/1----> 3
a3/a2=9/3----> 3
common ration r is equal to 3
number of terms n is 12

The Sum of geometric series is given by the formula
Sum=a1*[1-r^n]/[1-r]
Sum=1*[1-3^12]/[1-3]-----> Sum=[1-3^12]/[1-3]----> [3^12-1]/[3-1]
Sum=531440/2-----> 265720

What is .16 repeating as a simplified fraction?
Readme [11.4K]
I'm assuming this is 0.1666666...

Which in that case is 1/6.

(Just from memory)

To do 0.161616161616...

First, assign 0.161616... a variable, say it's x.

Now say 100x, what is it.

16.1616161616...

Now subtract x from 100x.

16.161616161616... - 0.16161616...

Or, 99x

99x = 16 in this case right now

Divide both sides by 99

x = 16/99

So it really depends what's repeating, it's either 1/6 or 16/99.
