The answer is 5, all you have to do is multiply one of the denominations and if you multiply 6 by 10 it = 60 and if you multiply 10 by 6 you get 60 there for you simplify that which equals to 5

You were given the polynomial f(x)=3x^3+13x^2+19x+k and you know that f(-2)=0find k
eduard

Answer:

k = 10

Explanation:

The initial polynomial is:

f(x)=3x^3+13x^2+19x+k

If f(-2) = 0, then when we replace x by -2, the result will be 0. It means that we can write the following equation:

\begin{gathered} f(-2)=3(-2)^3+13(-2)^2+19(-2)+k=0 \\ 3(-2)^3+13(-2)^2+19(-2)+k=0 \end{gathered}

Therefore, we can solve for k as follows:

\begin{gathered} 3(-8)+13(4)+19(-2)+k=0 \\ -24+52-38+k=0 \\ -10+k=0 \\ -10+k+10=0+10 \\ k=10 \end{gathered}

So, the value of k is 10

Solve -8x + 4 ≤ 36

A. x ≥ -4

B. x ≤ 4

C. x ≥ 4

D. x ≤ -4
nexus9112 [7]
- 8x + 4 ≤ 36
Subtract 4 from both sides.
-8x ≤ 32
Divide both sides by -8. When dividing by a negative number change the
x ≥  - 4                                   inequality sign.

Solve by Elimination:
3x + y = 5
2x + y = 4
Scilla [17]

Answer:

Point form: (1, 2)

Equation form: x = 1, y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the equations in order to solve for the first variable. Plug this value into the other equations in order to solve for the remaining variables.

If x represents the molar solubility of b a 3 ( p o 4 ) 2 , what is the correct equation for the k s p ?
AnnyKZ [126]

The molar solubility of Ba₃(PO₄)₂ is its concentration of pure substance

The correct equation for the ksp is Ksp = 6x⁵

How to determine the equation of ksp?

Start by writing the reaction for the solution of Barium phosphate

Ba₃(PO₄)₂  ⇌3Ba²⁺ +2PO₄³⁻

Next, we make an ICE chart

Let "x" be the molar solubility of Barium phosphate

          Ba₃(PO₄)₂(s)  ⇌3Ba²⁺ +2PO₄³⁻

I                                 0                  0

C                              +3x               +2x

E                                3x³                 2x²

Lastly, we write the expression for the solubility product constant (Ksp)

This is represented as:

Ksp = [3Ba²⁺] × [2PO₄³⁻]²

Ksp = 3x³ × 2x²

Evaluate the product

Ksp = 6x⁵

Hence, the correct equation for the ksp is Ksp = 6x⁵
