Rosario works for a small medical practice. Only three employees work in the office, so Rosario is often asked to take on additi

onal tasks when other employees are sick or on vacation. Debbie, Rosario’s coworker, counted a total of $8,000 in Medical supplies in the March 1 inventory count. On March 31, Rosario filled-in for Debbie and counted $3,000 of Medical supplies. During the month of March, records show supplies received of $10,000 and supplies provided to patients of $2,000. Rosario feels concerned that some supplies are missing.

Answer:

Amount missing = $10000

Step-by-step explanation:

Total amount of supplies received = $10,000

Debbie recieved = $8000

Rosario recieved = $3000

Supplies provided for patients = $2000

Actual amount present = total amount recieved (Debbie + Rosario) - amount given out.

Amount present = [(8000 + 3000) - 2000]

Amount present = $11000 - $2000

Amount present = $9000

However, record shows that supplies recieved $10000

Amount missing = amount in record - amount present

Amount missing = $10000 - $9000

Amount missing = $1000

Amount present =

How do you factor 1/4(-16x+8)?
Nikitich [7]
We know that we can take 4 out of (-16x + 8) [ we know this because we can divide 16 by 4 ( to get 4 ) and we can divide 8 by 4 ( to get 2 ) ]

we can factor out a 4 then from the parentheses to get 4(-4x + 2), but since we are multiplying by 1/4 we get

1/4(4)(-4x + 2), and since 1/4 * 4 = 1, our final answer is

-4x + 2
