The Sympathetic Nervous System is a part of the Autonomic Nervous System which has sympathetic neurons found on the spinal cord. This activates the fight or flight response. what does the term 2pq represent in the hardy-weinberg equation? the frequency of homozygous recessive individuals the frequency
Nostrana [21]

The term 2pq represented in the hardy-weinberg equation is the frequency of heterozygotes and is denoted as option D.

What is Hardy-weinberg equation?

This mathematical equation is used to calculate the genetic variation of a population at equilibrium and can be seen below:

p² + 2pq + q² = 1

where

p² is dominant homozygous frequency (AA)

2pq is heterozygous frequency (Aa)

q² is recessive homozygous frequency (aa).

The 2pq can be seen as the heterozygous frequency which is therefore the reason why option D which is frequency of heterozygotes was chosen as the most appropriate choice.

Moving from the equator towards the poles allows you to cross through different ecosystems, which can also occur if?
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

C. You cross from the western to eastern hemisphere

Explanation:

I believe this is the most reasonable answer but the question is a little confusing. If it is asking how to travel through different ecosystems then C is the most reasonable as A would only change the temperature and sometimes change the weather. B would keep you underwater all the time and you can't really switch ecosystems unless you got out. D, your staying in one ecosystem when climbing a mountain.

Hope this helps :)
