What might "tangible artifacts" tell us about the Shang?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

When ancient cities get lost in China, they get lost in places like Anyang. The ebbs and flows of 20th-century history rushed across this part of the Yellow River plain, leaving their traces like so much jumbled driftwood. Outside of Anyang stands the tomb of warlord Yuan Shikai, who briefly seized control of the nation in the 1910s. Anyang's new downtown—white tile, blue glass—is a monument to another conqueror, the modernization of post-reform China. Wedged between the tomb and the town, there's an old airstrip that was built by Japanese imperialists during their occupation in the 1930s.

if the treaty of versailles war fair, the second world war would war would not have occurred."how do you justify this statement?
Gemiola [76]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

The quote is "if the Treaty of Versailles war fair, the Second World War would not have occurred."

I can justify this statement? in the following way.

The victorious allies in World War I forced Germany to pay for war reparations. Yes, France and Great Britain did not really want a peace treaty. They wanted retribution and forced Germany to pay for all the destruction created during the war.

Germany was especially opposed to Article 231 of the Treaty of Versailles because it held Germany (and Austria) responsible for the war and required reparations. Germany also was forced to disarm its military.

In the end, this also resulted in a substantial loss of territory for Germany. All of these decisions and actions created so much pain and resentment in Germany. They helped set the stage for European conflict that would eventually result in World War II.

How does the excerpt from President Hoover’s press conference differ from President Roosevelt’s inaugural address?
3241004551 [841]

The passage from President Hoover's news conference differs from President Roosevelt's inauguration address in that only Hoover acknowledges the international nature of the nation's economic issues. Therefore, the correct option is B.

What qualities did President Hoover have?

Herbert Hoover (1874-1964) was elected as the 31st president of the United States in 1929, which also marked the start of the Great Depression. Hoover was mostly blamed by the American public for the crisis, which lasted for more than a decade despite the fact that his predecessors' policies were likely a factor.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, the youngest president of the United States, is still in office. Roosevelt's "Square Deal" domestic policy promised the average citizen equity, the destruction of trusts, authority over the railroads, and pure food and medicines. He was a pioneer of the progressive movement.

It should be noted that the excerpt from President Hoover's press conference differ from President Roosevelt's inaugural address as only Hoover admits that the country's economic problems have an international basis.
