I'm living the dream today

I get to be in the big parade

marching and singing to the beat

I hope this day never ends, its much too sweet

Can we put our day into a glass jar

and keep it forever I guess a globe is similar

Today I'm living the American dream

I never want it to end, it would ruin my self-esteem

I lived every day putting up a fight

against all of those thoughts who thought they were right

They liked screamed and kick

which only made me follow my wish

How did I do it

I must say

I never found out even today

I just know that this was meant to be

That good old childhood dream

Today I got to follow my dream

My descriptions aren't even a bit extreme

When you practice what you wish

Some day you might receive this gift
