For me personally, the easiest way to do this is by isolating the x² term, and finding the square root of both sides. The hardest way (well actually, the longest way) would be to use the quadratic formula. It just complicates things unnecessarily.
Answer: 2^7
Step-by-step explanation: 2 to the power of 7 would be one of the many ways to interact with this equation. This way being the exponential response. (Check your sources before this answer.)
Answer:
y=-2x+21
Step-by-step explanation:
use y2-y1/x2-x1 to find the slope so= -17-3/19-9=-20/10=-2
so once you find the slope take one of the points and plug it into the slope-int equation so... if you take (9,3) and take your slope (-2) so it would be: 3=-2(9)+b solve for b to get 21=b as your int. so.. y=-2x+21
3y means *three times y.* So it can be written as 3y or 3•y or written out three times the variable y.
