What is the angle measure of 2x+1°

Mathematics
1 answer:

Answer:

25 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Haha, awesome! Just did a problem like this!

All angles add up to 180, so set it up like this:

2x + 1 + 5x + 5 + 90 = 18

Combine like terms.

7x + 96 = 180

7x = 84

x = 12

Plug x back into 2x + 1

2(12) + 1

24 + 1

= 25 degrees

While we're at it...

5(12) + 5

60 + 5

= 65 degrees (for the other angle)

25 + 65 + 90 = 180

Math checks out & we're good to go!

Hope this helped. :) <3

How do i factor the coefficent out of a variable, such as 2.4n+9.6 and -6z+12
ANEK [815]
You are factoring one or more linear expressions (but are not factoring variables).

2.4n+9.6 can be divided by 2.4 and then the result mult. by 2.4:

2.4n+9.6 = 2.4 [ n + 4 ]

Also:  -6z+12= 6 [ -z + 2 ]  Here I have simplified linear functions but factoring out common constant coefficients (not variables).

Use logarithms to solve each equation 2x9/8=111
Illusion [34]
<span>We have this equation:
</span>
2x^{\frac{9}{8}} = 111

and we need to find the value of x.

First of all, we multiply the whole equation for 1/2, so our goal is to isolate x, therefore:

x^{\frac{9}{8}}=\frac{111}{2}

Next step we must do is to apply <span>logarithms:
</span>
logx^{\frac{9}{8}} = log(\frac{111}{2})

Next, we have to apply identities and then to solve the equation:

\frac{9}{8}logx = log(\frac{111}{2})
logx =  \frac{8}{9}log(\frac{111}{2})
logx = 1.5504
10^{logx} =  10^{1.5504}

Finally, we have the value of x which was our goal. This is the answer for the question above:

x= 35.5140

Brandon x-18

Michael 3x-18

9 (x-18)=3x-18

9x-9.18=3x-18

9x-3x=9.18-18

6x=8.18

x=8.3

x= 24
