C = 1

-7c + 9 = c + 1
+7c        +7c        (combine light terms)

9 = 8c + 1
-1        -1          (do the math)

8 = 8c
_    _           (divide by 8 on both side)
8    8

1 = c

-7c+9=c+1    (subtract c on both sides)
-8c+9=1    (subtract 9 on both sides)
-8c=-8     (divide by -8 on both sides to get c by its self)
c=1
your answer is 1.

How to do this I don’t understand
Andrej [43]

Answer:

holy this is just substitution child

Step-by-step explanation:

1. y + 2, y = 4

if y is equal to 4, we can replace y in the equation

4 + 2 = 6

2. 6a / 3, a = 3

6 * 3 / 3 = 6

4. x - 7, x = 12

12 - 7 = 5

5. 2c - 4, c = 5

2 * 5 - 4 = 6

7. 2z - 3x

2 (8) - 3(5) =

16 - 15 = 1

8. 6x / (y + z)

(6 * 5) / (2 + 8)

30 / 10 = 3

Polygon B is a scaled copy of Polygon A using a scale factor of 5. How many times larger is the area of Polygon B than the area
andriy [413]
We know that

[Area of Polygon B]=[scale factor]²*[Area of Polygon A]
[scale factor]=5
so

[Area of Polygon B]=[5]²*[Area of Polygon A]

[Area of Polygon B]=[25]*[Area of Polygon A]

the answer is
 the area of Polygon B than the area Polygon A is 25 times larger
