Answer:

11.25

Step-by-step explanation:

The perpendicular drawn on chord passes through the center of a circle divides the chord in to two equal parts

Refer the attached figure

So, By theorem AB = BC and DE = EF

In ΔFEO and ΔCBO

OE = OB(Given )

FO=CO(Radius of circle) (Hypotenuse of right angled triangle)

∠OEF=∠OBC =90°(right angle)

So, ΔFEO ≅ ΔCBO By RHS property

So, EF=BC(corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent)

BC = \frac{1}{2} AC =\frac{1}{2} (22.5)=11.25

So,  EF=11.25

So, Value of b is 11.25

∠1 and ∠2 are vertical angles. ∠2 has a measure of 31°. What is the measure of ∠1 ? Enter your answer in the box. °
Nesterboy [21]
The meaning of vertical angles are two congruent angles formed by the intersection of two straight lines.

On this question is given that angles one and two are vertical, and the measure of one of them or angle two is 31 degrees.
As said before vertical angles are congruent, or have the same measurement.

Meaning that angle one is equal to 31 degrees.

Katie is getting her laundry done it cost $2.25 per square foot of flowers added to the yard if she wants 12.4 ft.² of flowers h
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

Katie needs to pay $27.9.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

Cost of per foot = $2.25

Number of  flowers in her yard = 12.4 square foot

We need to find how much she needs to pay.

Solution:

Now we know that;

1\ ft^2 = \$2.25

So for 12.4 ft^2 = Cost for 12.4 ft^2 .

By using Unitary method we get;

Cost for 12.4 ft^2 = 2.25\times12.4= \$27.9

Hence Katie needs to pay $27.9.

Which graph represents the parent function of y=x^2 −5?
hjlf
From the function given:
y=x^2-5
this can be written as:
y=x^2+0x-5
writing in vertex form we get:
y=(x-h)^2+k
where: (h,k) is the vertex
y=(x-0)^2-5
thus the vertex is at (0,-5)
the parent function is y=x^2, thus the graph of the parent function is First graph
