Answer:

D. The passage has a strong claim that is not backed up by a sound reasoning.

Explanation:

Although the passage has a reasoning, it is not very valid and does not use logic at all.

I think the answer is d, bc there is a claim. that rules out the first two answers. however, the reasoning is only for fashion sense, so it would be d.

Choose the sentence with the correct punctuation.
alukav5142 [94]

Answer: B

Explanation: A colon should be placed in between the two phrases ‘It wasn’t easy’ and ‘in order to start writing a paper’ since the second phrase occurs following the first phrase.

A comma is needed in between ‘in order to start writing a paper’ and ‘I had to brainstorm ideas’ because ‘in order’ requires a comma. It’s similar to (‘However,’) or (‘Because of this,”).

If you write it in an “If” clause I think it would go like this:

If you do not go right now, you will be late for the train.

Whether or not a tutor has experience in a subject does not matter
ankoles [38]

Answer:

I believe a tutor should have experience in the subject they are tutoring for.

Explanation:

I believe a tutor should have experience in the subject they are tutoring for because it's important for the tutor to understand the concepts they are trying to teach. It would be harder if a tutor just wings it, and teaches a student about a concept they know nothing of. Furthermore, it's also very hypocritical. The student might think, 'why is someone teaching me about something they don't know?' The tutor isn't going to help the student get any better, and the tutor isn't getting any better by teaching something they don't know anything about. Therefore; it is important and essential for a tutor to have substantial experience in the subject they are tutoring for.
